Over a Decade in Life Sciences

Jonathan has spent over a decade working at the intersection of engineering, quality, and compliance across the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. His career spans some of the most recognized names in life sciences — including Moderna, Takeda, Amgen, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Ultragenyx, Vericel, Regeneron, Azzur Group, and Shire Pharmaceuticals.

Across these engagements, Jonathan has served in roles ranging from Quality Control Technician and Validation Engineer to Process Engineer, Project Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager — leading capital projects, driving compliance strategy, managing document control systems, and executing GxP-regulated manufacturing operations. He has a proven track record of identifying root causes, resolving deviations, and building quality systems that keep facilities compliant and production moving.

Notable achievements include tracing 80% of deviations to six root causes at Regeneron — leading to the elimination of a backlog of 200–300 overdue validation reports — and serving as QA lead on ten facility-shutdown projects at Takeda. At Vertex Pharmaceuticals, he designed a document intake system that drove 60 submissions across 20 document owners, significantly shortening turnaround time. Most recently, Jonathan served as an AI Engineer Fellow at Gauntlet AI, bringing his systems thinking and engineering rigor into the world of artificial intelligence.

This depth of experience — across cell therapy, gene therapy, mRNA, small molecule, oncology, and combination products — is what Jonathan brings to every consulting engagement through Brilla Life Sciences.

Cambridge CIC
Early Stage Cohort No. 4

In Fall 2025, Brilla Life Sciences was selected for the Cambridge CIC Early Stage Cohort No. 4 — a prestigious entrepreneurship program hosted at the Cambridge Innovation Center, one of the world's leading innovation hubs located in Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA.

The Cambridge CIC program connects early-stage founders with mentors, investors, and a network of entrepreneurs across life sciences, technology, and business. Through the cohort, Jonathan gained access to strategic guidance, business development frameworks, and a peer community of founders navigating similar growth challenges. The program played a direct role in sharpening Brilla Life Sciences' go-to-market approach, strengthening its value proposition, and expanding its network within the Boston biotech and life sciences ecosystem.

ICCC Business Program

In December 2024, Jonathan completed the InnerCity Capital Connections (ICCC) Business Program — a nationally recognized accelerator that equips minority entrepreneurs with the tools, strategies, and networks needed to scale their businesses and access capital.

Through ICCC, Jonathan deepened his understanding of business development, financial strategy, and investor relations — applying those learnings directly to the growth of Brilla Life Sciences. The program reinforced his commitment to building a company that is both operationally excellent and grounded in the values of equity and community impact.

Building on the
AI Frontier

Jonathan is actively building at the intersection of engineering and artificial intelligence — developing practical, production-grade AI tools through the Gauntlet AI Program.
